TOWN OF TONAWANDA, NY - A female juvenile was taken to Oishei's Children's Hospital after being hit by an SUV while biking Tuesday afternoon.
Town of Tonawanda Police say they responded to the incident around 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, at Delaware Road and Highland Avenue.
The victim suffered a fractured ankle and a fractured right clavicle among other lesser injuries, according to police.
She is being treated and may be released within the next few days.
The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Candace Nelson, 61, who according to police did not show signs of intoxication or impairment.
The incident remains under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.
