BUFFALO, N.Y. — Several main roads in the City of Buffalo will be closed for several hours Sunday due to the annual SkyRide event.

The closures are expected to begin at 6 a.m. and last until about noon.

The event route begins on the outbound (westbound) Skyway. Cyclists will travel along local streets to the outbound (eastbound) 33 and the 198 westbound.

There will also be delays on Porter Avenue, Niagara Street, Michigan Avenue, and South Park Avenue.

The inbound 33 and eastbound 198 will remain open.

Police will conduct traffic control.

The New York State Department of Transportation is warning drivers of possible delays and advising people to allow extra travel time because of stopped traffic.
