ELMA, NY -- New York State Police have identified the young girl who was killed in an accident Sunday in Elma.
The accident happened on Bullis Road just after 11am.
Investigators say the driver of a 1996 Audi was traveling westbound on Bullis Road when he crossed over the double yellow line and was struck by an SUV traveling eastbound.
The front seat passenger in the Audi, Rachel E. Lofaso, 16, was taken to the hospital where she later died.
Four other people were hurt in the accident and taken to local hospitals to be treated.
Troopers are still looking into what caused the accident.
To help the Lofaso family, a friend of Rachel's has created a GoFundMe page which the public can donate to.
