BUFFALO, N.Y. — Spectrum customers have until Thursday to see if they qualify for free services.
The company already gave out refunds to some customers as part of a settlement with the New York State Attorney General's Office.
Those cash refunds were automatically applied to customers' bills in March, but the other part of the settlement requires some action on behalf of recipients.
If you pay for Spectrum Internet and cable television, you can get three months of free HBO or six months of free Showtime, unless you already pay for the premium channels.
If you're an Internet-only customer, you can get a free month of Spectrum's streaming TV service.
Call Spectrum at 1-833-422-8795 to sign up for the free services or to get any additional information. Remember, the deadline is Thursday, May 30.
