Plane diverted to Buffalo Niagara International Airport for report of smoke smell

Everyone on board the flight was fine, according to the NFTA.

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — On Tuesday evening, a flight was diverted to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport for an emergency landing.

A Delta flight from New York to Los Angeles landed safely after being diverted because pilots smelled smoke in the cockpit.

The NFTA tells us that everyone on board was okay.
