3 more suspects ID'd in connection with Deep East Texas shooting that killed 1, injured 3

Five people have been arrested in connection with a Sunday morning shooting that killed one person and injured three in Nacogdoches.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Five people have now been arrested in connection with a Sunday morning shooting that killed one person and injured three in Nacogdoches.

According to the Nacogdoches Police Department, officers were called to reports of a shooting in the 1400 block of Dolph St.

Then officers arrived on scene, they found four men suffering from gunshot wounds. All four victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Police say one of the victims, identified as Javinsky Lampkin, 35, of Nacogdoches, died at the hospital.  The other three victims are in serious condition and believed to be in the process of being transferred to out-of-town hospitals for a higher level of care.

Police say the suspects left the area in a vehicle. However, officials were able to track down the car and a chase ensued on NW Stallings Dr. The vehicle finally stopper in the 3200 block of SW Stallings Dr. 

Two people were arrested following the chase. They were identified as Anastacia Pettigen, 25, and Jarvis Williamson, 39, both of Lufkin. They were charged with murder and booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail.

Around 8 p.m. on Sunday, the NPD conducted a search warrant in the 400 block of Claire St. in Lufkin and arrested three more people in connection with the shootings.

The suspects were identified as:

  • Elmer James Williamson, 30, of Lufkin
  • Wendi Williamson, 44, of Lufkin
  • Nathanial Jackson, 26, of Lufkin

They were charged with murder and also booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail. 

The investigation is ongoing.
