NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. — Niagara University is holding a community garage sale in the Kenan Center, with proceeds benefiting their Office of Campus Ministry and St. Vincent de Paul Society.

The event takes place from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Hot dogs will be for sale from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

This is the sixth year of the event which has raised nearly $10,000 since its beginning. The sale was inspired by NU's service program "2 Good 2 Toss," which encourages students and employees to donate extra items instead of tossing them in the trash.

As for what you can get, items include small appliances, mirrors, lamps, chairs, rugs, equipment and books.
