BUFFALO, NY - 47 medical professionals, mostly doctors, are in Buffalo this week as part of the Doctors of the World program.
What connects these men and women is that they are all accomplished musicians and they're here to spend some time with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Music Director Ms. JoAnn Felletta.
These medical-musicians will play a number of performances during their stay in Western New York and will cap the week with a concert Friday evening at Kleinhans Music Hall.
On Wednesday morning several of the visiting musicians played for patients at John R. Oishei Children's Hospital.
