Local landmarks light up to Stand Up to Cancer

Stars from movies, music and TV will join forces tonight for a milestone anniversary broadcast in the fight against deadly disease.

BUFFALO, NY--Some of WNY's most iconic landmarks will light up Friday night as part of the campaign to Stand Up to Cancer.

Stars from movies, music and TV will join forces tonight for a milestone anniversary broadcast in the fight against deadly disease.

Tonight's show starts at 8 P.M. on Channel 2 and NBC and features stars such as Jennifer Garner, Keanu Reeves, Stevie Wonder and Little Big Town.

For ten years now, Stand Up to Cancer has been raising funds for groundbreaking cancer research.

Here in Buffalo, the Electric Tower and the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center and Niagara Falls and the Peace Bridge will light up in a combination of SU2C's colors: orange, red, yellow, gray or white.
