Kenmore delays winter parking restrictions until December 1

Village Mayor Patrick Mang hopes the two week delay will help village residents.

KENMORE, N.Y. — Kenmore residents will have an additional two weeks to park their cars on village streets.

Mayor Patrick Mang announced Wednesday the winter off-street parking ban will now take effect on December 1 instead of November 15. It prohibits parking on village streets from 2-6 A.M. and will stay in place until March 15.

The mayor hopes the delay will help village residents, especially with the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. He added if there is a sizable snowfall before December 1, the village has the ability to put parking restrictions back in place if need be.
