Kelkenberg Farm in Clarence celebrates moms of all species

This marks one of the farm's biggest days of the year because it gets to debut a lot of baby animals for spring.

CLARENCE, N.Y. — It was a Mother's Day down on the farm this afternoon in Clarence.

It was the ninth straight year that Kelkenberg Farm has celebrated moms of all species on the farm.

This is one of their biggest days of the year because they get to debut a lot of baby animals for spring.

"We have eight bouncing baby goat kids, four lambs, the draft horses pulling the hay rides, pony rides for the kids, baby bunnies to hug, and I have lots of kids that volunteered today and families to help us out so we can get a lot of hands-on loving and hugging," co-owner Charlene Spoth said.

"What's better than you know, kids and lambs to hug on Mother's Day? Especially when it's so cold."

Proceeds from admission will be donated to the Veterans One-stop Center of Western New York.
