HAMBURG, N.Y. — T'is the season for all things shiny and sparkly, and the Fairgrounds Festival of Lights fits the bill.
More than one million lights will twinkle at the 14th annual holiday display at the Hamburg Fairgrounds.
The festival is open every weekend until 9 p.m. through December 16th. (The buildings and grounds stay open until 10 p.m.)
There will be an expanded schedule December 19th thru the 23rd.
The cost is $25 per carload ($15 if you get presale tickets).
Admission to the festival includes other activities, like a walk through six decorated buildings, live family entertainment, craft making, and vendors.
Kandy Kane's Holiday magic show runs Fridays at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., Saturdays at 6:30 p.m., 8 p.m., and 9:15 p.m. Sunday shows are at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Beginning the week of December 7th, employees from several local companies will compete to build structures entirely out of canned goods. The contest benefits the Food Bank of Western New York.
