EAST AURORA, N.Y. -- An East Aurora mom accused of getting drunk and falling asleep while cooking, causing a fire, appeared in court Wednesday night.
A neighbor pulled Kirstin Kelly, 28, and three of her children out of their burning home Friday night.
Kelly is charged with assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and reckless endangerment. Those are all Class A misdemeanors.
A judge adjourned her case until April 20 when a treatment path will be discussed. Kelly remains out on $1,000 bail.
