CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, NY - The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office confirmed Monday evening that they have located the body of a boater who went missing on Chautauqua Lake Saturday.
The Sheriff's Office says they received the call at 5:30 p.m. Saturday for 47-year-old Timothy Yocum from Falconer.
They believe he may have jumped into the water to swim and then went missing.
After two days of searching, Sheriff Joe Gerace says a body, presumed to be Yocum, was discovered around 3 p.m. Monday.
Tests confirmed that the body was indeed that of Yocum.
