CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — The Town of Cheektowaga announced Wednesday that it's delaying the start of winter parking restrictions.

The overnight winter parking restriction was initially scheduled to begin November 1, but the date is now being postponed until further notice. The town says the restriction is postponed until the first significant snowfall.

Cheektowaga is asking residents to pay close attention to weather forecasts, news organizations, and the town’s social media accounts for when the parking ban is to go into effect.
