Centers for Disease Control confirms 60 new measles cases

New York remains the highest on the list with nearly 800 of the 940 cases nationwide.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — New numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show 940 confirmed cases of measles across 26 states in the United States.

That's an increase of 60 confirmed cases since last week.

New York remains the highest on the list with nearly 800 of those 940 cases.

A majority of patients nationwide are children who have not been vaccinated.
