Car slams into City of Tonawanda pole; man not seriously hurt

Police say the 47-year-old driver failed to properly turn and hit that center island light pole. There was no word on any charges.

TONAWANDA, N.Y. — City of Tonawanda Police responded to a call of a car hitting a pole on Wednesday morning.

It happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Niagara and Seymour streets. Police say the 47-year-old driver failed to properly turn and hit that center island light pole.

Police say he was not seriously hurt. There was no word on any charges.
