BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo along with Governor Andrew Cuomo celebrated the milestone “topping off” at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Tuesday.
Governor Cuomo signed a steel beam that was raised to the top of the eight story building. The new medical school is expected to be completed in 2017.
This project is also one of the largest medical education buildings currently under construction in the country.
The new medical campus is expected to bring more than 2,000 students, faculty and staff to the school.
