BUFFALO, N.Y. — Wednesday would have been Dr. Martin Luther King's 91st birthday, and people will spend this weekend remembering the late, great civil rights leader.
That started Thursday at the library in downtown Buffalo at a ceremony that also honored Western New York poet and civil rights leader Clifford Bell, who has emceed this ceremony for 10 years now.
The ceremony also featured drumming and storytelling as leaders talked about Dr. King's legacy, and the work still being done in his name.
