Buffalo Police investigate fatal stabbing, car crash

A 29-year-old Buffalo man died Sunday morning following a stabbing and a car crash on the city's East Side, according to police.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A 29-year-old Buffalo man died Sunday morning following a stabbing and a car crash on the city's East Side, according to the Buffalo Police Department.

Police say the man had been stabbed inside a house Sunday morning. Following the stabbing he got into his car and crashed into a tree on East Ferry Street near Dupont Street just after 5 a.m.

The man was declared dead at the scene. Police say that an autopsy will be scheduled to determine the cause of death.

Police have not released the man's name at this time.
