Buffalo firefighters battle fire at vacant East Side building

The fire broke out a little after 12:20 a.m. Sunday, at a vacant building on Titus Avenue.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Fire officials are investigating an overnight fire that happened on the city's East Side early Sunday morning.

The fire started a little after 12:20 a.m. at a building on Titus Avenue, off of Broadway.

Fire officials say the building was vacant, and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The damage to the building is estimated at $40,000.
