Body pulled from the Niagara River

The New York State Parks Police are working to identify a body found in the upper Niagara River Wednesday morning.

The New York State Parks Police are working to identify a body found in the upper Niagara River Wednesday morning.

Officers were notified of a body floating in the river just east of the New York State Power Authority water intakes. 

The park police marine rescue responded and retrieved the body.

The body is described as a black male approximately 30-40 years of age.
