Applications being accepted for Lake Ontario shoreline flooding

Governor Andrew Cuomo says there's up to $30 million up for grabs for businesses directly impacted by the flooding earlier this year.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — New York State is accepting applications from businesses along the Lake Ontario shoreline for support and recovery efforts.

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced there's up to $30 million up for grabs for businesses directly impacted by the flooding earlier this year.

Those affected businesses and other eligible organizations could qualify for reimbursement of up to half of their project costs, with a maximum award of $200,000.

The application period closes at the end of January.
