Two hospitalized in wrong-way crash on Route 33

The crash happened around 10:15 p.m. on the ramp to Oak Street.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo police are investigating a wrong-way crash that sent two people to the hospital late Sunday night.

It happened right near the Oak Street exit on the westbound 33 around 10:15 p.m. Police say one of the vehicles was traveling the wrong way when it collided head-on with another car.

Two people were taken to ECMC for treatment, both are expected to recover.

The cause of the crash is still investigation.
