CRYSTAL BEACH, Fort Erie — An 85-year-old Canadian man drowned after a boat capsized off the coast of Crystal Beach on Sunday morning.
The U.S. Coast Guard said the incident happened around 11 a.m. The man's adult grandson, who was also in the boat, was able to swim to shore.
The Coast Guard said personnel from Buffalo and from the Detroit air station assisted in the search.
