BUFFALO, N.Y. — A foster home with 12 people inside caught fire early Thursday morning on Woodside Avenue, in south Buffalo.

The fire was confined to a bedroom on the second floor of the house, according to Buffalo Fire division chief Paul Graham. Two adults and 10 kids, ranging in age from infancy to 18 years old, were able to get out of the house.

Some of the residents went to Mercy Hospital for observation, according to Graham.
