Buffalo and Western New York postponements, cancellations

A number of events have been postponed or canceled in Buffalo and Western New York.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Here's an up-to-date list of postponements and cancellations in Buffalo and Western New York:

  • Shea's Performing Arts Center and 710 Theatre have canceled all remaining performances of "Hello, Dolly!" and "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" effective immediately
  • NHL suspends regular season. Games will be rescheduled
  • "A Quiet Place 2" release has been delayed
  • Martin House public visitations has been suspended for all of March
  • All scheduled events at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center have been cancelled until March 26
  • All scheduled entertainment shows at Seneca Resorts & Casinos have been postponed for the rest of March. That includes the Village People, Aaron Lewis, Orleans, King of the Cage and Against the Wind: the Ultimate Bob Seger Experience.
  • All Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra performances and events have been suspended through April 5
  • All public programs and meeting room uses in the Buffalo & Erie County Public Libraries are canceled through March 28; all libraries will be closed Tuesday
  • The Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center in Niagara Falls is closed until further notice
  • The National Comedy Center and the Lucy Desi Museum are closed until further notice
  • The Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site will close until further notice
  • The North Tonawanda farmers market is closed until further notice
  • NYSPHSAA Winter Championships Postponed Indefinitely.
  • March 21, electronics recycling event in West Seneca has been postponed
  • March 21, St. Martin's Boy Scout Troop 335 bottling can drive postponed 
  • March 21, Community Health Center of Buffalo mental health first aid training has been postponed
  • March 21, Magnificat Prayer Breakfast at the Millennium Hotel has been canceled
  • March 21, Brothers in Blue Bash at the Buffalo Grand Hotel has been rescheduled for August 29
  • March 21, John Waite's performance at the Riviera Theatre has been rescheduled to August 1
  • March 21, CEPA Gallery and CEPA auction canceled
  • March 21, Work To Win at Unitarian Universalist Church is postponed 
  • March 21-22, WNY Equifest-Hamburg Fairgrounds
  • March 21-22, Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show-Hamburg Fairgrounds (rescheduled for May 15-17)
  • March 21-22, Alabama Hunt Club's Batavia Gun & Sportsman Show
  • March 22, Just Buffalo Literary Center event, The Wordplay release
  • March 26, Amherst Senior Center, cancelled
  • March 27-28, The Musical Box performances at the Riviera Theatre have been rescheduled for June 20-21
  • March 27-29, Ransomville Speedway Mall Car Show cancelled
  • March 27-29, Springtime In the Country-Hamburg Fairgrounds (rescheduled for May 1-3)
  • March 28, Community Health Center of Buffalo mental health first aid training has been postponed
  • March 28, Erie County civil service examinations postponed
  • March 28, Buffalo Ward & Fruit Belt Coalition Spring Fling
  • March 28-29, Audobon Community Nature Center rummage sale has been rescheduled for May 23-24
  • March 28-29, WNED PBS Celebrity Chef's Table postponed
  • March 29, Motorcycle Swap Meet-Hamburg Fairgrounds
  • O'Connel & Company-all March events
  • April 2, Just Buffalo Literary Center event with Ilya Kaminsky postponed
  • April 6, Just Buffalo Literary Center event BABEL @ Betty's postponed
  • April 14-15, the Russell J. Salvatore Bowling Open in Tonawanda has been rescheduled for June 13-14
  • April 16, Just Buffalo Literary Center event with Colson Whitehead postponed
  • Albright-Knox Northland temporarily closed. All scheduled public programs and events postponed.
  • May 16, Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight postponed until October 24.
  • The Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center is closed until further notice
  • JCC all fitness, aquatics and senior programs
  • Buffalo City Hall observation deck closed, public tours cancelled
  • McClug Museum in Westfield until further notice
  • Explore and More until further notice
  • Lewiston Choraleers cancelled all performances of its Easter program
