A boil water advisory that was issued for parts of the Village of Albion, has now been lifted.

The New York State Department of Health said the advisory was issued after an 10-inch water main sustained a break that caused loss of pressure around 12:30 a.m. on January 1.

The water is safe to consume.

The advisory was issued for the Main Street Business District, which extends from North of Erie Canal to Bacon Road South.
