Femi Secrets CEO hosts 5K walk in Delaware Park

The 43North winner uses her company to raise awareness for breast cancer.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — 43North winner Davielle Jackson hosted her second Femi 5K for Breast Cancer Awareness on Saturday.

The walk took place in Delaware Park near Hoyt Lake.

Jackson hosted the first Femi 5K last year. She told 2 On Your Side she felt a responsibility to promote causes geared toward women's health. She says she plans to make sure the walk continues as her company grows.

"As the owner of a feminine hygiene company, our first priority is women's health. And breast cancer is a huge horrible curse that has fallen upon women of course right? So with Femi Secrets, we dedicate our business to women so it very important for us to keep the awareness alive," she said.

Jackson founded the Company Femi Secrets. The company sells organic feminine care products including underwear and wipes.

She recently purchased a new facility so her products could be manufactured locally in Buffalo.
