BUFFALO, N.Y. — Leaders at the University at Buffalo, having made a lot of progress toward the university's UB 2020 initiative, said they're ready to continue climbing the ladder of the nation's top research schools.
President Satish Tripathi said during his eighth State of the University Address Oct. 4 that UB wants to become one of the nation's top 25 public research universities by 2030. UB is No. 31 in such rankings from both U.S. News and World Report and the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education.
"I believe we can cross a threshold," he told a crowd attending his address on UB's North Campus. "We know we are on the right course. We know it by our research and scholarship. We know it by our student outcomes. And we see it reflected in our institutional ranking." You can read the full story on Buffalo Business First's website.
