3 Amherst Police officers to work at Williamsville schools

They will serve as school resource officers at each of the three high schools and help cover the elementary and middle schools.

AMHERST, N.Y. — Three Amhest Police officers are going back to school.

The Williamsville Central School District announced that the officers will serve as school resource officers at each of the three high schools: Williamsville North, South and East. 

And they will each cover the elementary and middle schools that feed each high school.

School resource officers do everything from keep an eye out for threats, to settling disputes, and even helping students in need of cheering up.

Williamsville CSD is proud to introduce our three School Resource Of... ficers who will be servicing our schools! Amherst Police Department They will have offices at the three high schools and service the "feeder pattern" communities of each of those schools.
