BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Town of Tonawanda man remains held without bail after an Erie County Court jury found him guilty of killing his girlfriend.

Mario Turner, Senior, 51, was convicted of one count of second degree murder.

Renee Taschetta, 49, was shot and killed at the home they shared on Dumas Place in the town on April 30.

Turner, Sr. faces a maximum of 25-years to life in prison when sentenced by Judge Susan Eagan next month.
