A Los Angeles sex offender will soon find out his fate after pleading guilty to enticing a local teen.
The U.S. Attorney says Carlos Francisco Lopez used the app Kik to communicate with a 15-year-old City of Tonawanda girl.
The girl was running away from home. She intended to meet Lopez in California, however, authorities were able to step in.
A judge will sentence Lopez in November.
