NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. — North Tonawanda Police say they've arrested a man from Illinois in connection with a series of armed robberies as recently as this week.

Police arrested 30-year-old Christopher Lindsey after executing a search warrant at a home on Oliver Street.

Officers say they found the gun and other evidence linked to the robbery of the Oliver Street 7-11 that happened on November 5, as well as several other robberies.

Lindsey is charged with robbery and criminal use of a firearm, both felonies.
