Man sentenced in rape and sex abuse case

It took the jury less than an hour to convict Lockwood back in August.

NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. — A man from North Tonawanda has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for dozens of sexual abuse, rape, and unlawful surveillance charges.

57-year-old Edward Lockwood was given that sentence in Niagara County court Friday. Once he serves his time in prison, he will have 20 years of post-release supervision.

It took the jury less than an hour to convict Lockwood back in August.
