Inmate facing additional time for alleged attack on attorney

BUFFALO, NY — A Cheektowaga man, already spending 107 years behind bars, is facing additional time after allegedly attacking his defense attorney in the Erie County Holding Center.

According to the Erie County District Attorney's Office, Mark Dublino, 52, attacked defense attorney, Joseph Terranova last March.

Terranova says he had to be hospitalized, and suffered injuries to his upper body and face, including a nose fracture.

Dublino was originally arrested in 2016 for attacking three people in Amherst. He was sentenced to 107 years in jail upon being found guilty of attempted murder.

Should he be found guilty on these charges, he faces a maximum of seven years.
