BUFFALO, NY — Two teens are facing murder charges in connection with the death of a 58-year-old Buffalo man.

Alexandria Heath, 17, and Romaine Jirdon, 19, both of Buffalo, were arraigned Sunday in Buffalo City Court on second-degree murder charges in connection with the death of Alexandria's father, Thomas Heath.

According to the DA's Office, Jirdon is Alexandria's boyfriend. It is alleged that the teens beat and stabbed Thomas Heath to death in their West Ferry home on Nov. 17.

The teens pleaded not guilty and were sent to jail without bail.

If convicted, they face a maximum of 25 years to life in prison.

A felony hearing is scheduled for Nov. 22 at 9:30 a.m.
