FREEDOM, NY-- A Cattaraugus County man is facing charges following a domestic incident.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office says Brian J. Peterson, Jr., 28, of Freedom, allegedly held a female victim down by her throat and then smashed out a window behind her, causing a cut on her forehead.
Peterson, Jr. is charged with assault and criminal obstruction or breathing or blood circulation. He was arraigned in court and released.
