BUFFALO, NY - A Buffalo man was in court Wednesday to face charges in connection with the murder of another man on Wright Avenue last June.
The Erie County District Attorney's office has charged Dominic Vereen, 23, of Buffalo, with second degree murder.
Investigators say Vereen allegedly shot and killed Dennis Thompson, 24, in a home on Wright Avenue on June 21.
Vereen could face 25 years to life if convicted. He is scheduled to be back in court on August 15 for a pre-trial conference. He remains held in jail without bail.
