TOWN OF TONAWANDA, NY-- Police were called to Kenmore East High School Wednesday night following an altercation at a basketball game.
School officials and police say an altercation broke out between two students in the stands during the Kenmore East vs. Kenmore West basketball game.
Two off-duty police officers and staff quickly broke up the altercation and police arrived on scene while students were being dispersed. A verbal altercation ensued outside of the school.
Two students, one from West and one from East were issued appearance tickets for disorderly conduct. Their parents were notified to pick them up from the school.
Their names are not being released due to their age.
