The Buffalo Zoo announced Thursday afternoon that their zoo family has grown.
The zoo welcomed a new female ocelot kitten named, Amara, on September 25.
She is the third kitten for mother Ayla and father Pedro and her name means "steadfast" and "immortal."
Guests can welcome Amara to the world on Saturday, December 15 during the Rainforest Falls Day celebration at the zoo.
