BUFFALO, N.Y.--- Buffalo police, fire, and other agencies checked out a possible meth lab in the first block of Macamley Street in South Buffalo but it is back open for residents and traffic.
Police were called to the scene around 7:15 p.m. Monday and blocked off traffic on South Park Avenue at the intersection with Macamley. .
Hazmat crews were also called to the area.
A resident told 2 on Your Side that she saw police arrive and was told they were originally responding to a domestic dispute call. But officers may have seen something suspicious that prompted them to call in other investigators and the Buffalo Fire Department Hazardous Materials Unit..
The scene was cleared about 10:30 PM or so with just one police cruiser still parked in a driveway at one home on the street. Police would not say what if anything was actually found.
