CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — The owner of the Victoria’s Secret, Pink and Bath & Body Works stores in Walden Galleria says it doesn’t owe rent for the months the mall was closed during the Covid-19 pandemic.

L Brands Inc. was responding to a trio of lawsuits alleging the company missed rent payments for the stores totaling $449,909. The lawsuits were filed Aug. 14 in State Supreme Court in Erie County by Pyramid Management Group LLC, the Cheektowaga mall’s managing agent for Pyramid Walden Co. LP.

Andrew Cuomo’s closure mandates, which went into effect in March when coronavirus cases started to rise in New York state. The Galleria reopened July 10.  You can read the full story on Buffalo Business First's website.
