BUFFALO, N.Y. — Western New York organizations were approved for a total of $1.2 billion in Paycheck Protection Program loans since the beginning of the year. (Here's a full national list of PPP recipients.)
About 18,000 organizations in the region, which includes Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans and Wyoming counties, were approved for PPP loans in 2021, according to U.S. Small Business Administration information. The data includes approved PPP loans.
Business First will be analyzing and reporting on the data in the coming weeks. In the meantime, here is a breakdown of the 30 PPP loans to Western New York organizations totaling $1,999,999 and above.
