BUFFALO, N.Y. — The average annual pay for 47 different occupations in the Buffalo area is less than $30,000, according to new salary data released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
Business First yesterday posted the new rankings of the area's 100 top-paying occupations. Today brings the flip side.
Baggage porters and bellhops sit at the bottom of the pay structure in Erie and Niagara counties, earning an average of $22,790 per year. Dishwashers come next at $23,810. Check out the list of low-paying jobs in WNY on the Buffalo Business First's website.
