Safetec adds third East Side site as business soars

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Safetec of America has acquired a third East Side site to accommodate its soaring business.

The developer and manufacturer of infection control products has seen demand increase significantly since the Covid-19 pandemic struck the United States. The company has added 50 jobs in the last half-year and plans to create between 10 and 20 new positions in the rest of 2020.

The 66,712-square-foot facility off William Street is a former U.S. Post Office. It is on six acres of land. It will host additional warehouse space and new Safetec equipment, the company said in an announcement.
