BUFFALO, N.Y. — Royal Car Wash locations in Western New York will soon have a new name.
Daniele Management and Development of Rochester confirmed to 2 On Your Side that they are selling all 14 Royal Car Wash shops, including the four locations in Western New York, to GO Car Wash.
GO Car Wash currently operates 62 locations across the United States, and will now add locations in Tonawanda, Depew, Cheektowaga and Lancaster to that list. Danny Daniele with Daniele Management and Development said this is the "largest car wash transaction to date in the northeast."
Royal Car Wash uses a fully automated process, with customers purchasing car washes via touchscreen.
Terms of the deal between Royal and GO were not disclosed. The company said in a statement that they will also partner with GO to build 10 more car washes across upstate New York.
“Our goal is to be the most admired car wash company," said Bill Derwin, CEO of GO Car Wash in a statement.
