The court battle between Stephen Barnes and Ross Cellino to decide their firm’s future is now over.
The two attorneys and longtime partners had been publicly at odds since Cellino filed a petition in May 2017 that sought to dissolve their lucrative, Buffalo-based personal injury firm, Cellino & Barnes PC. Barnes later agreed to move forward with the split and the case moved to mediation in October 2019 as the parties looked to divide assets and personnel.
Barnes and Cellino reached a confidential settlement, according to what a source close to the case told the New York Post.
