A former Buffalo firehouse in the Broadway-Fillmore District has been acquired by a local investment group, which plans to renovate the building into apartments.
Engine 18 LLC paid $185,000 for Buffalo Fire Department House No. 18 at 1032 Fillmore Avenue. The building, located near Genesee Street, had been owned by James Ulatowski, according to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk’s office.
Tentative plans call for two-story, 4,712-square-foot firehouse, constructed in 1886, to be converted into at least two apartments on the second floor and retail or commercial on the first floor. You can read the full article on Buffalo Business First's website.
