Douglas Jemal buys an old firehouse in Buffalo

The Washington-based developer, who is undertaking a $120 million-plus makeover of the Seneca One Tower, has acquired more Buffalo property.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Douglas Jemal has added to his growing Buffalo real estate portfolio.

The Washington-based developer, who is undertaking a $120 million-plus makeover of the Seneca One Tower, has acquired a former Buffalo firehouse.

According to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk’s office, Jemal's Hook & Ladder 8 LLC paid $325,000 for Buffalo Hook & Ladder 8 at 174 Chicago Street off South Park Avenue. The firehouse is located just east of Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino.
